About project

WHAT DOES IT MEAN SECONDARY SCHOOL RESEARCH (SOČ)

Secondary School Research is a competition of high – school students solving problems in one of 18 scientific fields. This competition is based on presentationsof research results and the most successful solvers represent the Czech Republic in similar international competitions.

JCMM helps students and their lecturers with SOČ to achieve the best results in scientific and technological field. And this effort is successful!

JCMM collaborates with universities and the institutes of Czech academy of Sciences and offer topics for SOČ, and at the same time provide a financial support of these works ranging from 5 000 – 10 000CZK. Every year high school students may choose from certain topics, which they are going to solve in cooperation with their chosen lecturers at the workplaces ranging from July to February. An outcome of their research is a written SOČ project and participation in the competition. Our support is preferably provided to scientific and technological topics.
